The Instic Secondary Mathematics programme focuses on developing independent thinkers addressing new mathematical concepts and grounds students with the appropriate skills, techniques and approaches that will be leveraged throughout secondary school and beyond. Incorporating guided and adaptive learning strategies combined with hands-on activities, discussions, and peer evaluations, students are provided with a supportive and positive learning environment that is backed up by Instic’s proprietary Ca(i)re pedagogy.

Secondary 1 & 2

As students bounce from Primary to Secondary, Instic helps to smoothen the process into a meaningful transition whereby students develop the self-assurance to manage their new academic workload and increased complexity in key topics such as Algebra, Geometry and Measurement, and Statistics and Probability. With a greater emphasis on real-world problems Instic leverages a varied of techniques including concept notes, formulae worksheets, quests and social interactions on top of the typical scaffolded worksheets.

Secondary 3 & 4

For Upper Secondary, Instic provides distinct programmes for Additional Maths (A-Maths), Elementary Maths (E-Maths) and a dedicated IP (Integrated Programme) pathway. This ensures that students receive the appropriate support at the right time and allows them to focus their energy where they require it the most.  Our programmes are designed to facilitate mastery of the key concepts acquired over the four years, incorporate exam techniques, time management and to ensure students have sufficient time to drill effectively on exam style questions including questions with multiple topics.
