As monotonous as mathematics may have seemed, learning with the inStic coaches has broadened my perspective of this subject – that I once found exasperating.

Under their guidance, the process of mathematics was no longer about the frustration, but what came along with it was laughter, patience, and most importantly enlightenment.

Math now seems like a lifelong journey, something I am willing to follow through with because of how enjoyable the coaches made it.

My most important takeaway thus far was that it was not only about the answer, but the process.

Thank you inStic 🙂

“Before engaging I scored 70% for my P4 Term 1 exam. I needed to achieve 94% in the Term 4 exam to achieve Band 1 overall. I have never achieve any higher than 80% on my science exams before and it was stressful to think of 94%.

With proper answering techniques and understanding of how marks were given, I achieved exactly 94% in my term 4 paper and I made Band 1.

I’m so happy as science was my weakest subject and I never thought I can make it to Band 1. My school teachers even commended me saying that my answers were like the model answers!”

"My daughter Candy is 11 years old. We started with inStic Academy at P4 for both Math and Science - her grades improved. And now we’re moving on to P6.

Back then, I was searching hard for a good enrichment centre with good teachers, strong curriculum, nice environment and small class sizes until I finally met inStic who convinced me that InStic is the right place for Candy ...

The coaches are professional and committed, I am heartened to have Candy in their good hands."

"I am really pleased with the coaches at inStic Academy and the way they teach.

They really helped me improve a lot for mathematics which is how I managed to score AL1 for my Math PSLE.

I highly recommend inStic Academy for students who are struggling with Mathematics. They teach differently from other tuition centres [I attended before] as they pushed me and the other students to their limits and always support their students.

They always found additional time to help students who are struggling."

A merry band of lasses, nine, jolly as can be, one finished her classes, and all were then free, when a woman clad in blue, white and beige beckoned them in and passed ‘round page a medley sang from the woman’s lips, “by this sundown,” so she quipped “the papers be done the topics be gone or a curse by the name of work, a curse upon ye”.

And so for an hour, the lasses toiled. The lady yelled, in fear the girls recoiled. An image in front of them, she produced. “Witchcraft!” they cried. “Nay, it can’t be true!”. “Believe it, young ones” And so work continued save for a small rest at six fourty-one.

“Release us! Freedom!” they cried. “You’ll take your leave soon” so the brunette lied. Despair and despair, sobs everywhere. N’er was there a scene sadder than this and the lady then responded with a hiss, “Curses upon curses, half hour left. Yet they whine and cry, surely they jest.” But the lasses continued to gloom, acting as if the world should be doomed. The lady soon grew to tire of them and their ridiculous antics, 7.30 grew near.

“Enough of all this! I shan’t take no more! I tire of you, so begone with you all!”

“Down with algebra! Down with triangles! We’re through with pythagoras, as well as angles!” So they lasses, with their battlecry triumphed off there and then, underneath the night sky!

To get a good science teacher is tough. Both my elder daughter, Dilys, and her brother underwent tuition with inStic Academy.

Dilys understood what was being taught in school, but just could not score well.

inStic Academy brought Dilys’ science marks from about 70% to an A in PSLE with her answering techniques and breakdown of the school scoring system using their [CER] approach.

It was because of this that I sent her brother to inStic Academy without any delay. And it has paid off

“The teachers explain the questions and the methods very clearly and the length of the lesson is just nice ... I learned a lot of things [from the inStic coaches] and discover different types of questions."

I like the coaches as they are kind and they teach us mathematical methods that the school does not teach us.

The inStic methods are unique and easy to remember 🙂

"I like the way they teach us because they will help me better understand the question when it’s difficult.

The questions they give us are harder than what I learnt in school and that helped me in solving the questions at school.

I like inStic Academy because they teach us easier methods to apply when solving science and math questions."
